Lakeway Municipal Water District Eases Water Restrictions
Lakeway Municipal Utility District has moved from Stage 2 water restrictions to Stage 1, indicating only mild water shortage conditions. For more information, please call 261-6222.

According to the official website of the Lakeway MUD (District), "Commercial, association and large irrigation consumers, as well as individuals, are encouraged to be aware of demands on the system and make reductions where possible. The goal is five percent total reduction in daily demand. As the weather cools down, the District encourages consumers to insulate pipes and fittings to prevent freezing rather than leaving faucets running or dripping.

Voluntary Water Use Restrictions are in effect. The following irrigation schedule is encouraged:

Residential

Odd-numbered addresses: Wednesdays and Saturdays

Even-numbered addresses: Thursdays and Sundays

Commercial

Tuesdays and Fridays

Irrigation after 10 a.m. and before 7 p.m. is prohibited to reduce evaporation."

No Visit List
The newly revised Vending & Solicitation ordinance takes the “No Solicitors” sign idea one step further. Residents can now add their names to a “No Visit” list that will be provided to solicitors when they receive a license to solicit within the City. This provision allows residents to easily be proactive in limiting unwanted disturbances. Please Email Us your Address to be added the list. [Email Us]
Road Reopened
Please be advised that the repair work on the failed section of Rough Hollow Drive has been complete. The road is now open for travel.
