Allen Bergeron, retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant, will be the guest speaker at the Lakeway Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013. This event is open to the public and will be held at Heritage Park in Lakeway. Endorsed by the City of Lakeway, this annual event is being co-sponsored by the Lake Travis Standing Military Committee, and the Lohmann’s Ford Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Other participants in the event will include the Honor Guard from the Lakeway Police Department and the local choral group the Lakeway Sing-Along choir.
