The codes are available on the City of Lakeway website, or you may come into the City of Lakeway BDS Department and purchase either the Building, Zoning, Sign, or Development Ordinance booklets.

This department does not manage water or wastewater. You need to call one of the water companies that services Lakeway.

You can pick up free mulch from the Public Works Department anytime during the department’s regular hours. You can take as much as you need but you have to load it into your vehicle yourself. During the month of March, you can call to request that a dump truck load of free mulch be delivered to your home.

A Public Works employee picks up dead animals during the department’s regular hours (7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday). Weekend and evening service is not available at this time.

During the summer months there will always be two lanes available for lap swimming during open swim hours. In the fall, winter and spring, lap swimming is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 am - 7:30 am and 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

During the summer months the pools are not heated, as the average temperature is around 83 degrees due to the Texas heat. During the fall, winter, and spring season the lap pool is heated to 82 degrees and the leisure pool is closed.
