Paper Products- Clean and Dry Please!
Separate dry paper from other recyclables. Use a paper bag or tie newspapers and magazines. No plastic bags please. Wet paper will not be picked up. If it looks like it might rain, keep paper recyclables indoors until your next pickup day. OK to include household, office, school paper, mail, and pressed cardboard (like cereal boxes). No phone books, please.
Aluminum or Steel Cans - Food or Beverage Only!
Remove food and lids. Rinse. Labels may be left on. No aerosols, aluminum foil, aluminum food trays or scrap metal.
Plastics - HDPE #2 & PET #1
Recycle code is imprinted on container bottom. Remove contents and lids. Rinse. Labels may be left on. HDPE #2 - milk, water, juice, detergent, fabric softener, lotion & shampoo either tinted or solid colored. PET #1 - water, soda, cooking oils, mouthwash, alcohol transparent, tinted green or brown. No solid containers. No containers with larger opening than base.
Glass
Colored and clear; no Pyrex or ceramics
Printer Cartridges
Bring your used laser, fax, or inkjet printer cartridges to City Hall. Collection box is in the Lobby.
