For small family gatherings, City Park is on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of three picnic tables.  Reservations may be made at the Lakeway Activity Center or by calling (512) 261-1010.

The picnic areas are not available for reservations during the City's Fourth of July festivities.

Large groups may reserve the picnic pavilion and the picnic area located by the flag pole. Reservations may be made at the Lakeway Activity Center or by calling (512) 261-1010.

The Lakeway resident rate is $12.50/hour with a four (4) hour minimum plus $12.50/hour for any additional hours. The non-resident rate is $25/hour with a four hour minimum plus $25/hour for any additional hours. 

The Picnic Tables and/or Pavilion reservation fees are not refundable if the reservation in canceled later than the fourteenth calendar day before the date reserved. All cancellations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.

If alcohol beverages are to be served, an Alcohol Permit must be obtained. There is no charge for the Alcohol Permit. In addition, the Alcoholic Beverage Release and Indemnification Agreement must also be signed by the group requesting the permit.

Groups of 10 or more must obtain a permit prior to holding an event in the Park. Groups over 150 are asked to limit their use of the Park to week days from Memorial Day to Labor Day. A credit card number is held as a $500 cleanup/damage deposit for large groups (over 200 people).
