Community Based Service Programs

Effective crime prevention requires the active support of the citizens - a partnership between the police and the community. Agencies both public and private have recognized for years the value of volunteers in the workforce. Volunteers play a vital role in the department’s vision to engage the community in problem solving to deter crime and to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our community. To this end we have enhanced several community programs and are creating new ones to better utilize this group of outstanding and energized volunteers!
